RIDE ROSTER 2008

Harry's Cafe De Wheels

 

We'll cruise into town for a nice hot meat pie at Woolloomooloo Bay, a chat and maybe take some photos.

 

From here we may ride through Kings Cross and then down to The Rocks Markets, "The Hungry Mile", Haymarket perhaps, then split for home.

Brighton Le Sands

 

Fish 'n' Chips by the beach.

 

Should be plenty of parking and photo opportunities with a nice beach backdrop.

Iguana's Waterfront, Central Coast

 

As we have a 10AM departure time from Liverpool, I would suggest we head straight to the Central Coast via the freeway. Iguana's is only open for lunch from 1200 'till 1500 on Sundays.

 

We can ride to Iguana's and see what their service is like. "Do you know who I am?", hehe. :)

 

We could then push on for Newcastle and Nobby's Beach or start heading south. We'll decide on the day. :)

The Pittwater

 

We'll ride over the ANZAC and Harbour bridges up to Seaforth where we'll take the Wakehurst Parkway down to Narabeen Lakes.

 

Next we'll head up Powderworks Road to Mona Vale Road where we'll take the Akuna Bay turn-off which will take us down to the Pittwater and back out to Narabeen where we'll stop for a coffee at Gloria Jean's.

 

From this point we'll continue south through Crows Nest and taking The River Road ultimately to Victoria Road where we will be in "Mouse Territory" as we cross the Iron Cove bridge as we near the ANZAC bridge where most of us we'll split for home.

 

Some will take a right turn onto the link road to the Great Western Highway. Others will take a left turn back over the ANZAC bridge heading east and then south.

 

We will encounter traffic as much of this ride is "Urban" but there are some real nice moments up in the Pittwater and Narabeen area and when crossing the ANZAC and Harbour bridges.

Club Meeting

Our meeting place is the Regents Park Sporting and Community Club, Terrene Street, Regents Park. The main carpark is accessible via the Regent Street entrance.

 

This is the last club meeting for 2008.
